"Know what you don't know."
I stumbled upon this little piece of wisdom the other day while reading a book on business. And when I first read it I rolled my eyes and thought "Another quote from some guy trying to sound like a genius while just stating the obvious." And then I thought about it.
And I thought about it.
And I thought about it.
And then I started to realize how much I don't know about photography, my love, my passion, my career. That's not to say I'm incompetent (to the best of my knowledge) because I don't think any person can honestly say there's nothing that they don't know about their passion.
So I started a list.
And everyday when I come across something that I don't know, I add it to that list. Now I'm checking them off, one by one, all those things that I don't know.

I'm enjoying reading your blog so much. You ask for comments and I really want to comment because I would love to have these conversations with you, but I feel silly because you asked these questions so long ago. There is just so much I don't know that I wish I did, mostly involving raising boys, beauty, photography, confidence, faith, and happiness. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your amazing photography, and your insightful questions.
