As soon as we got into Washington a couple weeks ago for Thanksgiving break I knew exactly what kind of backdrop I wanted for my sister's family pictures I was taking: The beautiful leaves and the wonderful backdrop they provide. The trees there were so beautiful that we even said "Now I can see why people live in Washington!" Then we stepped outside into the 30 degree weather and remembered, "Now I see why we live in California!" Cold weather aside, Seattle proved to be a beautiful place to take pictures, and the fallen leaves made for the prettiest bokeh. These are my sister's kids and they are just absolutely beautiful, I think I took about 70 pictures of just Emeline alone.
